Welcome to an evening of music, magic and good vibes. hosted by JC and the Tree. We are hosting an event of extra special quality to release our new album 'Changing Tides' and we would love you to be a part of it! Perched on top of the Sunshine Coast hinterland you will get to enjoy breathtaking views all afternoon as you watch and enjoy the music. The venue is an amazing old english pub style building and the owners are big supporters of local craft beers hence the name 'The Craft'. Dinner and drinks will be available through the venue for the whole event.
Our MC for the evening will be the world class magician Sean Tretheway (yes you read that correct... magician, not musician!) so be prepared to have your mind blown and don't blame us if you leave questioning the laws of physics!
Performing before us will be the amazing Jason Daniels trio with Hannah Olivia and keyboardist Yosi collaborating on the stage. They will absolutely blow you away with their musicianship but also their positivity and zest for life they bring.
And finally a little bit about us and what we plan for our show...
As many of you would know we always play as a duo, just the two of us, but for this celebration we will be bringing to the stage JC and the Tree as a full band, with drums and bass.
Scotty French (Cheap Fakes & Genie Boy), the legend who recorded, mixed and produced our album will be joining us on the drums and we are super excited to have him on board as he was a huge part of this album.
On bass will be Brad Wenham (Dub Zoo, Highlife, Renegade Funk) a bit of a local legend around the coast.
We are honoured to have these amazing, talented people share the stage with us at this special event, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you and look forward to seeing your faces in the crowd.
